For excursion trips, scooters are getting more and more popular because they do not require an additional/ extra driving license- and transportation possibilities are available, if the live weight allows it, for nearly every motorhome. Basically, a scooter can be transported inside the spacious rear garage or at the rear of the motorhome at a load rack. As in both cases, restrictions concerning the motorhome’s remaining loading capacity have to be adhered to, the Linnepe rack systems are made of seawater-resistant aluminium. At the same time, they provide the same (if not more) stability as do standard steel racks- in combination with the significant weight reduction. All rack systems mounted to the outside are connected to the chassis and not the body. They are detachable and are delivered with an EG type certification, thus, they do not need to be registered in the vehicle’s registration papers. Additional costs for a frame extension additionally required for vehicles without or with a non-carrying frame extension: 369. - €.
