Camping cabinets and camping kitchens for camper vans, caravans and awnings

Camping cabinets and folding camping kitchen modules must be stable, divided into practical compartments, solid and yet space-saving during storage. Collapsible caravan furniture from the Intercaravaning.shop range, such as the Azabache camping cabinet series by Brunner and the Isabella camping cabinet are therefore designed as foldable suitcases, whose side surfaces later serve as floor, storage and work surfaces. The racks in the simpler camping cabinet and camping kitchen models are made of aluminium, and the surfaces are either made of aluminium-framed MDF boards or plastics. Elaborately crafted camping furniture such as the Chuck Box Black camping and outdoor kitchen cabinet or the Drive in Black have steel rods for even more stability. In addition, the Drive in Black is a well thought-out camping kitchen with a removable plastic sink, metal utensil baskets, multi-purpose hooks and 2 separate inner compartments. Both camping kitchens have a back wall for wind protection. While Isabella is more concerned with storage space with its corner cabinet and a fold-out single and double cabinets, Westfield positions itself as an all-rounder with the ModuCamp camping and kitchen cabinet series: In addition to the almost full-size camping wardrobe, there are three 100 cm high caravan and awning furniture elements, some of which are equipped with bucket inserts for rinsing and bottom cutouts for gas cylinders. Towel racks, waste bins and organisers as well as additional shelves and drawers make cooking in your mobile kitchen feel just like cooking at home.

Mercury camping cabinets and camping kitchens

The Mercury series camping cabinets and kitchens by Brunner are also extraordinarily solid and flexible thanks to their aluminium counters and metal windbreaks. The 122 cm wide Mercury CTW kitchen cabinet even has an integrated, concealable sink. In contrast to the suitcase-like portable camping kitchens, these fabric cabinets are hung in an interlocking tubular steel frame. This reduces the dimensions for transport and the weight of the caravan or awning furniture.

Camping kitchens – foldable or hinged

When it comes to camping kitchens, it’s important to distinguish between foldable and hinged. Modular camping kitchens such as the ones described above are for folding and plugging into place. For the Mayet kitchen cabinet from Euro Trail, you simply pull apart the criss-crossing aluminium frame on the sides and place a rolling aluminium surface on top. The foldable kitchen cabinet is therefore a bit more lightweight than the suitcase cabinet models with continuous top and bottom surfaces and a hinged mechanism.
