Roof hoods and rooflights for motor homes and caravans

The range of roof hoods available from Dometic alone is enormous: Mini Hekis, Midi Hekis and regular Hekis (lift-tilt windows are referred to as “Hekis” in many German product names) with or without forced ventilation – Dometic’s lift-tilt rooflights are available in different sizes, with different functions and for various roof thicknesses. With the Mini Heki Style, Dometic focuses on roof thicknesses of up to 42 mm, for instance - and with adapters, it can be used for roof thicknesses of up to 60 mm. In comparison, the Dometic Heki 3 plus 960 x 655 mm can be installed in vehicles with roofs up to 60 mm thick. Lighting (optional), a fly screen and a blind make the Heki 3 plus the premium model among the large Hekis from Dometic. Among the Midi Hekis, the narrow roof window Midi Heki Style 400x700 mm is especially popular. In contrast to the other medium-sized lift-tilt windows, this model can be opened lengthwise and can be installed in caravans and motor homes that would not typically be wide enough for a Midi Heki. Like the Mini Heki Style models from Dometic, the Midi Heki Style roof windows are manufactured with and without forced ventilation.

Remitop Vario II roof hoods for caravans and camper vans were distinguished as the quietest roof hoods in their class. Remis always manufactures the aerodynamic Remitop Vario with forced ventilation. Where Remitop Vista roof hoods are concerned, it can always be interrupted using an additional inlay. On the other hand: Ventilation is important so any gas and moisture can escape.
