Immersion pumps and membrane pumps for supplying motor homes and caravans with fresh water
Immersion pumps get their name from the fact that they are immersed in the water tank or water canister of the motor home or caravan in order to pump the fresh water from that location to the pipes and water taps. 12 V immersion pumps like the Comet Vip Plus, Comet Lux Plus and Comet Elegant can pump between 10 and 21 litres every minute.

Membrane pumps for motor homes and caravans that are not sensitive to dry running
Membrane pumps like the Power Pumpe Aqua from Fiamma and the three-chamber membrane pumps in the Classic series from Shurflo are installed in the riser, not the tank. They suction water from the tank, even if there is no water in the pipe, and pump the water to a height of up to three metres. The Aqua Power membrane pump from Fiamma is available in three designs for pump quantities of 7, 10 and 13 litres per minute. The membrane technology in the Shurflo membrane pumps in the Classic series is a patent from Lilie that makes it possible to have a controlled water flow and thus a constant pressure in the pipes. Shurflo pumps from the Classic series pump 7 or 10 litres of water per minute and supply up to four taps. The Shurflo Smart membrane pump manages up to 14 litres per minute. Furthermore, it is electronically regulated to adapt the quantity of water pumped to the requirements. Since both the Fiamma Power Pumpe Aqua and the Shurflo pumps function in all positions, it is easy to subsequently install them or replace them with more powerful models.
