Gas cylinders, gas heaters, gas grills and gas supply accessories at Intercaravaning.shop

Whether from aluminium, steel or sheet steel gas cylinders – heaters, boilers, fridges and stoves for caravans and camper vans are predominantly operated with propane, and some with butane. When parked, but especially when driving, low pressure regulators and gas pressure regulators such as the Truma DuoControl are indispensable for the operation of Truma heaters, among other things. That’s why, in addition to our large selection of gas cylinders, all of these items can be found at Intercaravaning.shop.

Gas meters, gas regulators and gas hoses for gas cylinders in camper vans, caravans and for camping

In o‍rder to make sure that your air conditioning or fridge doesn’t suddenly fail in the middle of nowhere, it makes sense to purchase a gas meter such as the LevelCheck gas cylinder content indicator by Truma or the Truma LevelControl. Like the Truma LevelCheck, the Truma LevelControl measures the amount of gas remaining in the gas cylinder via ultrasound. An LED display on the Truma LevelControl indicates the level. Thanks to networking with the smart Truma iNet system, you no longer have to access the bottle; instead, you can conveniently look up the gas volume using a smartphone app. In many caravans and camper vans, these systems have long been pre-installed, allowing you to read off the gas level on the vehicle’s control panel.

Gas pressure regulators such as the Truma DuoControl for two or the Truma MonoControl for one propane cylinder regulate the extremely high pressure of the escaping gas. But German camping heaters, stoves and gas grills are usually made for pressures of about 50 millibars. Gas heaters and household appliances in other European countries are designed for 50 mbar – which is still low compared to the up to 10 bar that would come out of the gas cylinder without a regulator (depending on the outside temperature). The Truma DuoControl CS and Truma MonoControl CS gas pressure regulators also have a crash sensor (CS) that switches off the gas supply when vibrations become too intense during driving. These low pressure regulators from Intercaravaning.shop allow gas-powered devices to keep on working while you drive. Additional gas filters like the reliable Truma gas filter protect these regulators from contamination of the gas by oily components.

By the way, thanks to supply flaps such as those from Variant and gas outlets, gas appliances such as grills and stoves can also be connected to the internal LPG source outside the vehicle.
